On Friday September 14th The 666th Devil Dogs will host the first Planetside 2 Death Race. The Death Race is a race through enemy territory from one faction's territory to another. This Death Race will start from the Suarva and complete at the VS Warpgate. The 666th will attempt to provide some air cover for the race, but race participants will be at the mercy of enemy forces. The winner will receive a faction Dog Tag. The start and or finish line may be changed just prior to the race depending on the conditions of the front lines.
The Death Race will be covered by SOE's Friday Night Ops stream hosted by Luperza and SOE's Eye in the Sky. The Eye in the Sky will watch the lead Flash throughout the race to keep it honest.

Death Race details:
- Assembly time is 4:15pm PST in the Suarva courtyard, behind the South Shield on West01. (server subject to change) Race Time is 4:30pm PST
- This Death Race will be run by the TR (All are welcome). Players will pull their TR Flashes, line up behind the South shield at Suarva and await the GO GO GO from EVILPIG.
- The race will be from Suarva to the VS Warpgate.
- Players may take any route they wish.
- Players who die are eliminated from the race. No TKing permitted (The NC and VS will handle enough of the killing I'm sure).
- If any survive, the first Flash to crash into the VS Warpgate wins.
**EDIT**Due to the change in empire warpgates, we have decided to keep the original race route, as it has already been timed and tested, but this means that this race is now a TR race. The start point of the race has been moved to Suarva due to the crevice outside the TR warpgate. A test run from Suarva, through West Highlands yielded a track time of 7 minutes. We will consider this race a test and will consider changes to the race procedures for the next race, which will run an entirely different route and empire.
