I think it mainly comes down to more armor plates for the NC. We've seen pictures with more thigh and arm armor plate thingies. It's sorta unsure for now whether they are just something you get as you level up or cash shop stuff.

Could there perhaps be something along the lines of "medium assault" that we don't know about yet? No jetpack, more armour than LA but less than rexo. :P
