Who gets into beta question.

Just wondering and curious if someone will ask the panel about the beta.

The question: Do all players who played over the years get into the beta without subscription?

Basically, I'm just making sure someone is going to ask this question. I'm sure someone will, but I just want reassurance.

I need to know if I should subscribe anytime soon to get into the beta.

If I were you, id just sub now, just to be safe it says all "current subscribers" get into beta.

So if your subscribed you will be safe

They said early on that people with subs would be given preferential treatment for beta invites. So you might want to have an ACTIVE sub, because they didn't specify anything more than that. So... we don't actually know if they meant "Has Had A Sub At One Point" or "Has Active Sub".

Which is why he is asking whether somebody at the press conf can ask the question to clear it up :P
Because in the press conference he said something like "Make sure to check whether your planetside account has an up to date email if you haven't used it for awhile" or at least it was said somewhere. Which makes me think they consider old PS players as well.

Well this is my thought process behind it:
The central aspect behind Planetside is to have thousands of players on at a time in a large scale battle/battles. Considering this, Sony is going to need a lot of people in the beta in order to fully test it. Since there aren't a whole lot of people playing Planetside at the moment, it's likely that we will all get a beta invite. Where else would they go?
