It's okay. Sunderers will be limited on the battlefield no matter how powerful you make them because nobody likes to be a dedicated driver, amirite?

Did I do that right? I'm still confused on how that reasoning works.

That is the haters reasoning at any rate.

I will be driving a Sundie quite often.

I think the Sundie has an EMP, and various other counter measures (they have stated smoke screen). And probably some kindof nitro boost mod.

Meaning that from the devs prospective, that is more than enough to keep you entertained and commited while dedicated driving.

And as far as the Gal goes, i think theyre trying to keep that as simple as possible for the dedicated driver, seeing as you will be responsible for the lives of 11 other people.

I understand what youre saying, as a sly swipe at the Dev's about tank driving. Im just telling you that they have their reasons, and lets not forget theyre actually playing the game.

I like the song and the video so to me wasn't a troll - did give me a chance to see what it looks like tearing ass in repeat across the terrain

Oh, no doubt. Sundy for life. I think in PS1 there were only 3 vehicles I stayed certed in for more than a week -- AMS, Sundy, and Libbie. I'm delighted that the devs seem concerned with giving the Sunderer a more appealing battlefield role, because I loved driving it even when it was a big fat deathtrap target for tasty tasty xp if you actually convinced people to fill it up. Knowing that it's going to have the physix support and the horsepower to bust down barricades and have options to be a support vehicle for armored columns in addition to a transport is pretty exciting.

Yeah, that was the intent. Though, if the the devs want to apply that logic to the Sunderer and boost its power "knowing" that few people will want to drive it, I'm fine with that.

All we need to do to make it perfect is to convince the Devs to allow us to slot in a respawn matrix.
