I would just got with Planetside 2. It's not the same situation as Everquest IMO. Where as that was two different games an storylines. An the first game still had appeal for people to play it instead.

Planetside Next will probably just be an upgraded version of the original. Like most FPS games where you play the latest. So it would just be less confusing to know which one is the newer one. Half the casual Modern Warfare crowd probably would buy the wrong game without that helpful number lol.

Don't worry, I didn't take it that way. That first sentence wasn't suppose to be as sarcastic as it reads.

I generally do like my opinion being challenged when it's flawed, and you did it in an appropriate manner instead antagonising.

I, like many others, have issues with SOE's marketing. It will take a LOT of effort from SOE to shake many of us from our concerns when they make any press about a game I desperately want to be successful. Due to this, I will very often jump off the rails because I generally dislike the effects or poorly made announcements. I will go over the top and I do need to be brought back down to earth when this happens. People shouting "you're wrong, you're wrong" doesn't work, because it's opinion, not fact, at this point.
