/thread.

people should really checkout this page:

You know, this really pisses me off.

Who the hell are you to declare that there's nothing else to discuss if you're not a moderator or an admin by saying /thread?

It's such an arrogant gesture and it really needs to die. Especially since what DCUO does and PS2 does could be completely differnet.

I'd say that it wont necessarily be the same as in DCUO, cos in PS2 organized gameplay makes all the difference in the world. OK, well, I didnt play DCUO at it's highest levels, but still.

Doesn't mean anything DCUO you had to pay for until it went F2P and like EQ and EQ2 its not totally F2P since its a crippled version that's free not the whole game.

PS2 will be 100% free to play no content restrictions so why would they follow the same thing that the other games use when them games are still basically subscription games ?

I do agree though add steps to increase outfit size for either station cash or in game resources that would take longer to acquire. You can either pay a small fee now or go play the game and earn it.

Anyone against this doesn't realize it cost money to maintain and produce these games. You wan't fast and good updates ? They need money and this would be a good way that wouldn't be pay 2 win.

It's so debatable though.

And we should be allowed to speculate without someone just declaring that there's nothing left to discuss and everything is absolute.

Re: Station Fee for Outfit Creation

The simple truth is if you play with a group of friends making a small outfit should be easy and free it encourages friends to play together without making it expensive, but a big outfit with hundreds of people ? The leader should have to pay a small one time fee with station cash or in game resources.

Here's the thing though say you got 100 members and it cost X amount to increase outfit size to that amount ? you spread that amount over 100 people and is it really that expensive ? Say it's only $10 ? That's 10 cents per person go dig out 10 cents in the couch

As high overlord of the Vanu, it pretty much does mean that I can, yes.

I would be fine with this being in a 100 man outfit myself I pay 10$ so does everyone else our outfit is paid up for a long time to come. I guess it makes the game cleaner you don't have "Forever Alone" outfits unless that person wants to pay the fee then he deserves it.

One thing I would have to say though if we pay for outfits we need to have the ability to design our own outfit logo. So many of us have them anyhow. I think the game may support that I saw a magrider with a reddit robot on it unless that was just photoshop.

I don't mind .... I'd be willing to stump up the cost.

This.

As a leader of a smaller outfit I think this idea is a great one. So long as the fee stays related to aspects that will not drastically alter game play I'd be fine with this idea. I recognize though a lot of the issues that could come out of this, for example convincing everyone to hand over 10 cents. While this is more of an internal outfit issue, it's something we should keep in mind when discussing these ideas.

Overall though, I'm not against the idea.

I'm way against the idea of forcing players to pay to form an outfit.

Although I am not against forming an outfit being really expensive and then offering players the option to pay real money to form it faster.
