Jammer grenades can kill if they set off a mine which blows somoene up either directly or through other things (namely Spitfires) exploding. Strange things happen.

yeah it was probably a mine dude. The game just for some reason read it as the jammer killing you not the mine.

Probably a glitch. I've got loads of screenshots showing funny kills like that. It IS funny though.

I have 2 explenations:

- either, the screenshot was modified;

- or there's a bug (only 1 more to add to the list, lol).

Sputty is right. That has happened to me more than a few times. I am sure you all have seen Flail kills that do not correspond to an empire

I saw a Jammer Nade kill before, just assumed it was a glitch with the jammer - mine explosion.

The one that really confuses me is the REK kill in one of the PoTD's...
