Well... true it might not. But frankly, I don't think it would be all that great. I'd rather see a three-way slug-fest for one area with hundreds of people involved. That's what PS is all about.

The reward could be anything, huge amount of BEPs, special vehicle, special weapon, special cert, special implant.etc

And they could be permanent or not depending on the reward and effort,etc

There are a ton of possibilities.

Three day (two and a half? weekend) events. Once a month or longer. The top 3 - 6 outfits on the server (one or two from each empire) are given a special status(skin, access to all weapons, for the duration of the weekend), and notified a couple of days in advance. They are given a base(s?) on one of the "neutral continents" (equal jumps from all sanctuaries, and most likely a tech plant at the very least. only they can spawn there for 4 hours in advance or any base on that continent or warpgate to it for 2 hours before. They are given those 4 hours beforehand to clean out the base, and thin out the population on that continent) These outfits must hold the base(s) until the period is over. If they retain control of the base for the entire time (no hacker successfully hacks the base, even to neutral) Each member of the outfits gains one battlerank. If the base is hacked to neutal but rehacked, they gain 300 BEP (or some amount high, but not excessive) if it is completely hacked away, but is recaptured they get half of the previous amount.

Assaulting squads get 1.5x the BEP for a kill. (after all these are the TOP outfits.) The hacking squad (for the first hack away) gains a goodly amount of BEP. If the Hack goes through... the get a bunch more. If they're still in possesion at the end of the they get more, as welll as every squad from that empire in the SOI gets some BEP.

Turns into a 4 way...
