Also agreed, but I agree with most of their political views. And I don't think there is any other band remotely like them (correct me if I'm wrong). I think the way they mixed rock, rap, funk etc is pretty innovative. Definitely one of the crown jewels of the 90s.

If you like RATM, try Primus. Personally i hate them both, but they have similar elements, and i believe Primus are actually older.

So that's what Primus is like. I've heard a lot of people talking about them lately. I'll check them out sometime.

Van Halen.

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hendrix, Blue Oyster Cult, and AC/DC are also very, very good. I also like a lot of singles from Dio, Ratt, and other assorted 80s rock.

Anyway, although I prefer rock, I also like blues and don't mind jazz. There is also some good classical (Wagner, 1812 Overture).

Led Zeppelin/Pink Floyd sucks. Balls. I hate them.

I prefer my "If you like these bands, you should be shot. Repeatedly." list:

-Rage Against The Machine
-Any Hip-Hop/Pop/Crackle/Snap
-Rap
-Limp Bizkit
-You don't just like, you worship Nirvana

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.

Damn frickin straight! best evr.

I tihnk startin this thread was a bad idea, cos as sum of u have said, it just comes down to,
"So n so is da best!" remarked Davis, eating his pizza.
"NO, watever IS DA BEST YOU WANNA FIGHT ABOUT THAT?!" retorted Sam, ejaculating his opinion in Davis's face.
"Yes, I would." Davis said steamingly.
"As would I." Sam agreed.
Ill make a closing statement b4 i never look at this thread again:

METALLICA FOREVEEEEER!

oops, oh and
People still listen to classical pieces hundreds of years after they were composed. I seriously doubt people will still be listening to Metallica in the year 2400. I mean, omg, what's so great about guitars and stuff?
Well, most think Metallica's oldest songs were their best, and they were from 20 years ago? And their albums are still being bought? I think they will still be listened to in a good load of decades.

edit= wats so great abotu guitars?? i tihnk u shud really be asking what isnt great about them

20 != 400.

And my "what's so great about guitars?" comment was in response to your "what's so great about violins?" comment. They're both wonderful instruments
