time is not 1D, it's 2D, which allows you to go back in time, do something, then come back to an unspoilt future/present, it's like traveling to parrallel universes

And that's widely what the evidence supports. There is no legitimate scientific evidence that suggests traveling back in time in OUR dimension is possible. There are theroretically parallel universes within the quantum structure of our reality that are at a different time period then us, but that dosen't make it our universe.

On the side of personal musings, I think the ending of the first Men in Black in fairly close to the truth; we are an element of a sub-atomic structural component in a bigger galaxy. Likewise, our subatomic elements are comprised of even smaller subatomic particles (quarks, gluons, ect). When you get to the most fundimental level, these are comprised of a dimension as well. Regressing universe.
