Nah, they've said that stuff like All Access Pass, Veteran Status and points value and stuff will transfer over. Problem that a lot of them are unsure of is if PSS1 will be worth the patronage or if they're gonna have to circumvent the company when it turns out how shoddy they are.

No one knows and the only history they have so far was bought from other companies and most of that was poor.

But either way thanks for the heads up, I got my brother $75 worth for $25.

Well crap. I got 20k on the last double sale, but I'm not sure what 20k gets me. Don't know if I should buy more, even though I'll probably end up going with the sub. I'm tempted to just throw more of my money at them for support.

Nah, 10k is more than enough if they keep up these sales on a regular schedule. I don't see SOE or Sony ever thinking that can stop doing these sales and keep getting just as much money out of it.

so with the latest playstation network terms the currency is not permanent and can expire.

does this apply to station cash as well?
if i buy sc now and planetside 2 is delayed too long, will i lose my unused station cash a year after purchase, or will it stay in my "wallet" until spent?

Ive had 300 station bucks for the last four years. So I think you should be safe buying whatever you feel you might need.

OK...for Everquest. In the Cash shop, you can buy a 1 month membership for 1499 station cash, and on triple cash weekends like this you can get 1500 SC for $5. Normal subscription is $14.99.

Is there a catch?

Maybe, maybe not. They also have a All Access Pass that's $20/mo that's for Everquest and pretty much all of the res to their games too. Or you can pay $15/mo if you buy the All Access a year at a time. So seeing them do the payment options like how you just described I'm not surprised.

i referred to the new sony playstation network eula (not soe)
but since both are sony eulas, and use similar terms (like "wallet") i was afraid, they changed it for soe as well and i may have missed this.

Yeah I saw this in my e-mail. I'm up to 30,000SC saved up from the All Access Pass and buying some on the double and triple sale days. Can't wait for Planetside 2!
