Uhh, we got told at E3, beta will start within next few weeks, then open beta will start a few weeks after that, so i think 6 weeks from when we were told, which its now been 1 week, so i think roughly 5-7 weeks till open beta

Thats what the guy said. Unless someone can find that interview because i may have distorted my memory after all this time.

And i don't see any reason to not believe the guy, i'm new to the PC world. So i don't know if i should be not believing what a high up person says.

thats what was said, i herd it too, but i think thats a developer few weeks, aka: 8-27.

My guess is that closed beta will start and the first access people get in (PS1 vets and anyone who got a beta key) and they'll detail how it's going to ramp up into open beta.
