I never knew exactly how OS worked until now. Didn't know about that blue circle around you that you have to place the OS marker in. Now that I think about it, seems kinda obvious, otherwise ppl could OS targets on the other side of the map.

Thanks for the vid bio, I found it informative.

As for you other people, sure its "obvious" once you've gotten CR4, but I've never done it before so I really didn't know much other than "you pull out your CUD, place a waypoint thingy and it counts down". I figured it just OSes your personal Waypoint you have set up. Now I know otherwise.

Was a good video. Nicely done. Now I know for when I'm (finally, miles away) CR4.

You can't os targets on the otherside of the map. You have a soi radius to choose where to place your target.

Most people (unless an infil that is meticulous) do not os using the blue targeting. You know where the ams is, and line it up as best as you can from the map (and you can't zoom in at all ). The drawback is that you might hit that catwalk pretty much wasting your os.

Who needs a video to tell them how to OS? You take out the CUD, you click, select the point, and click it twice. Who needs a video to figure that out?
