Meh, most of the Emerald NC CR5's are pretty good commanders. I know a couple of them well in-game, which helps. And, because there are so many Emerald NC, if one commander says something retarded, others will often correct him.

I have been playing EQ since April '99. Therefore, I know SOE and its CS policies well(and the EQ and PS policies are very very close)

If someone pisses you off, DO NOT CURSE AT THEM. I have reported people for using the words "fuck", "***", "***", "*****" and others in a deragatory manner against me.

SOE will suspend and ban accounts anywhere from 3 days to permanently for using improper language.

And I will admit, I have baited people once or twice until they did so, just so I could report them; something I learned from the PvP servers on EQ. Stuff like, "You're so proud of killing me? Your mom should be too, let me go over to my bed and wake her up and let her know."

SOE is cool with bickering, until you use profanity or racial slurs. Then you get hit with a banstick.

I'm not sure if the swearing thing holds true for PS, because of the filter that is on by default. Not sure if EQ has one of those or not.

You could always disable the filter by typing /filter. Just a thought .

What does the real world have to do with it. If someone devotes time to something and achieves it I would say that they earned it. With the way the Planetside system works, a CR5 earned his backpack regadless if you think he truly did or not. Besides, any ass hate can sit on the sidelines and critque the CR5's all day (it's so funny how everyone thinks their way is the right way, and you're stupid for not thinking the same), but until you're one yourself... I'm pretty sure your opinion is void.

As to losers spamming nonsense, if it is racial or highly insulting, take a screenshot and do a /appeal. Otherwise you're only option is to /ignore.

Yes, EQ has a filter. Though EQ's GMs suck ass and don't do anything.

I had a run in with one particular person tk'ing me and then sending me very... unhappy remarks. I took screen shots and /appealed. That same day that person was banned for a few days. CSR-DanB can be an ass about some things, but he was a good guy then.

Part of the problem with cr5 is that some are willing to let the zerg do it's thing for hours on end then take credit for it. They achieve popularity not through strategy on a continental or global level, but through saying what the zerg wants to hear.

I'm caught in an odd position with klar. Back in June when i joined 7th legion, he was actually a normal player, and took ps very seriously. So we got to be really good friends. And then one night he did his global spam fest and then quit and then he came back a week ago. It's going to sound like a bunch of BS, but he's really cool when you get to know him. I'm not sure why he spams global really.

btw firefly the ironic thing is that he's jewish too.

and im not sure what buzz did. I worked with him before, he seemed like a nice guy.
