Many of my mates in the BWC got a invite, as well as some of my RL friends. I did not however and let them know that everyday.

Yup, got my invite yesterday. The testing phase starts at 5PM CST today! Can't wait to get off work!
I got the game downloaded/installed yesterday...

Black Widow Company was in the last weekend beta in large numbers. We will be in the next beta in large numbers, and we will be testing out PvP domination.

So wrong on so many different levels SKYeXile.

The movement keys are similar to WoW. The UI has features similar to many other MMO's. But that is about it when it comes to being a "WoW clone".
The game makes you really feel like a part of the Star Wars universe. You are not going out to get 10 boars tongues on quests. Each quest furthers you along your class storyline. There are bonus quests that fulfill the "kill x enemies" but you are rewarded for your efforts with bonus XP. The voice acting in this game blows my mind. There is replay ability within this game. You are not limited in class selection as you are in WoW. You get companions that can help in gathering resources.

SKYeXile, you just come off as sounding bitter. How about playing the game before judging the game?

as far as questing & storyline goes, its different/better than wow.

as far as the overall game, its very similar as most are. Since wow revolutionized everything.

we are just gonna have to wait for blizzards next mmo ip, cause no1 else seems up to the challenge.

ive played 2 characters up to 35-40 in cb

WoW got it's inspiration elsewhere as well. EQ..

The same "basic" template for making an MMO will always be the same.

But SWTOR is MUCH different than WoW. You can't even compare it UNLESS you compare it at it's most basic level.

In which case all FPS's are Doom.

The fact that Hamma posted this should tell you how vastly different SWTOR is from WoW.
