Battlefield Premium

I'm lucky enough to have never played this game.
Jesus Christ EA, think of more ways to terrorize people and carbon-copy that piece of shit Call Of Duty: Elite.

Re: Battlefield Premium

CoD elite is a subscription service. Battlefield premium is a one time fee which saves you about 25$ if you planned on buying all of the DLC anyway and gives you some extra swag as well.

Plus, the largest maps ever seen in a BF game, MRLS, motorcycles, the AC130 and amphibious tank destroyers. Not to mention there are claw marks on the "aftermath" box art.

Stay lucky, my friends.

The game is good, don't slam it because EA is selling some tacky crap on the side.

What's this about an AC-130? I'm not interested if it's not player drivable/gunnable.

Edit NVM, not interested, screenies show you can only gun it.

I'll admit, I laughed when I originally read that news story.

What amazes me is the fact that people will be in droves.

i really liked bf3 when it first launched but for some reason i find that i really enjoyed bad company 2 a lot more overall. the client side hit detection flat out is pathetic imo.

How is releasing more content to fans of the game at a discounted price for people who plan to buy all of it anyway a bad thing? lol

I have a ton of fun in BF3 when I have people to jump in voice with and play with coordination. You can do some damage even with the small 4 person squads if you are all in voice. Though I do wish squads were 6 people still.

I played on of the new maps with 64 players and with one of the new guns

Very hectic, still a hell of a lot better than metro though.

^Typical ignorance.

We'll put it in PS2 terms. PS2 is F2P, assuming they are going to regularly release DLC (LIKE SOE DOES, DON'T THINK PS2 WON'T - ALA DCUO, EQ2, EVEN EQ1 NOW) and we'll say it's 14.99 per pack. Well to stay competitive and playing you'll probably need to get the DLC anyway. We'll assume they release 6 DLCs in 2 years. 6*14.99 is 90$. Now lets say SOE announced PS2 Platinum (not a sub, just a once time price) that gave you all 6 DLCs for 69.99 as well as some cosmetic goodies and maybe 10,000 resources (arbitrary number clearly)

You'd jump on it in a HEARTBEAT and PRAISE SOE for their kindness.
