Character Creation

Iv looked around on some other message forums and most are answering me back that snipers are unable to do heavy dmg becuase of the armor most people will be wearing. I plan to be a sniper but i dont want to be a support role, i played a cleric to lvl 50 in DAOC, a bard in EQ and a life mage in AC, so im sick of supporting

Anyone know a specilization like heavy armor or something that is able to go out on there own and get some BEPs

Any responses i will really appreicate
