[old PS player] So i'm thinking about returning

So i have played PS since early closed beta and have pretty much been in love with the game since, it has gone thru some rough times, and i mean rough, but i've always had an eye on it. Over it's first year i was on and off playing, then i ended up selling my account for SWG...which had PS and CC on top of it. But i'm pretty confident i'm coming back with the release of aftershock and BFR's.

Since i'm starting fresh on Emerald server, my question is this. What Empire should i go?

I've been every one since release, in my order from favorite to least favorite it's NC, VS, and then TR. What has changed, who is over powered, who is nerfed, etc etc. Any help i can get would be nice...i just don't want to go in and pick the gimped empire

VS = uber nerf, outnumbered most of the time (atleast on Markov)
TR = MCG = overpowered if ur on the wrong end of it, ownage if u have 1 in ur hands
NC = moronic zerging 100% of the time, 95% of CR 5s suck (ThundaHawk and Tourette are some of the few good ones on NC Emerald), no one repairs (thing I hate most about NC) and they are all gen killers

Congradualations.... you have met a noob of PS already. Thing is that the Devs acctualy balanced the HA weapons. Other weapons arnt as balanced.... I find a problem with the efficiency of the Burster compaired to skyfire/ sparrow, and the AV weapons. Nothing huge... basicly the devs got the balance right and are finally working on new content. Somepeople are crying for fixing the bugs in the game first.... but there are very few game stoping bugs. And they are so few in number only a few devs can work on fixing them while the rest are devoted to new content.

They're annoying, but generally harmless. They'll try to gum you, and get slimy stuff on your arm.

Assuming you're experienced, I'll just be biased and tell you to go to the Emerald TR. They are good shit, but outnumbered.

meh the eimper doesn't matter so much but markov is by far a more ballenced server, it has a bit smaller population but it's not noticable.

Nc markov has a substantial zerg-minded pop, but some good smart outfits keep the flanks. And we are very persistant, sometimes letting evey cont but the one we are on get hacked.
