Framerate Question

I just ran the UT2003 benchmark to find out what fps I'm getting, got results averaging around 25 fps. Just curious what a good fps is?

It's included with Unreal Tournament 2003, go to where you installed it and look for the benchmark folder. What are good graphics benchmark programs? I hear about 3dmark 2001, would that be the most popular benchmark?

It's currently a tie between 3DMark 2001 and 3DMark 2003. Some people have problems with the way 3DMark runs it's tests. Either one can be had at www.futuremark.com

25 FPS? Which test did you run, the flyby or the Botmatch? If it's the flyby, it might be time to buy a whole new machine. Can you post your specs?

Never mind. See my reply in the other thread.

yea, on bot match my average frame rate was around 56fps and on fly by it was over 125fps. I didn't touch or tweak anything so I guess that was on maximum detail at 1024x768.

so yea.. you need an upgrade in your graphics card (as your other post asked)
