Trying to play the game tonight and I can't get even the launchpad for PS2 to open. I see a Launchpad.exe process in the task manager but nothing comes up or if it does it's just a black box. Also I can't visit any of the Sony Online Entertainment websites. It just times out.
Called my ISP and they can't find any issues. Also, it's not the same connection as mine (same provider though) but my roommates downstairs are able to connect to the site.
I've tried doing a ping to planetside2.com and it just times out. If I do a trace route I get...

I was able to play this morning. Also I have no anti-virus running or firewall going.
