Heh, I jumped into that battle to test some PC tweaks. They were definitely trying to redo the wallpaper with it. But, I think that two and a half enemy platoons all up in our hair, while our two biggest outfits were off defending an unconnected territory for 30 minutes, were probably much bigger factors.

As the rock said "nerf paper, scissors are fine".
For the first month of PS2, the TR and NC had to endure massive columns of Magriders that would climb cliffs and spam incessantly into bases. Now that Magriders don't absolutely dominate the battlefield the VS are complaining? Pro tip: If your current base is getting spammed by HE Prowlers, spawn at the closest base and grab an Annihilator and score some points. Bring an Engi friend and make it a party! I need to go look up some of the 'Magriders are OP' threads with the obligatory 'No they're Not!' responses from the VS.
The tables, they are turned. But don't worry, I'm sure they'll get nerfed eventually and then we'll all complain about something else being OP. |

What's funny is if AA was back to where it was they would just get wiped out by Libs. Remove the air, and you get more tanks. That an longer Infantry render distance means it's a good time to be in a tank.
If you ask me the game needs to nerf AA, while also reducing air's effectiveness at killing Infantry. Then you have a more natural flow of counters. |
