The first 30 minutes of FKPK op night is usually complete lollery. Today I bring you the fruits of that labor - the PS2 Vanu Orbital Strike.
Reproduction Steps:
If you have performed the steps correctly, 12 angry HAs will impact the ground at the exact same time as somewhere between 200 and 300 Lasher bolts. Does it work? Well, no. You can't aim straight down, target calling is tough, and even hitting the ground itself with an infantry weapon can be difficult when you're in jump state. Damage dealt will be minimal, and mostly to yourself. Is it worth it? Tune comms to local and you tell me. |

Hmm... How about 4 gals full of HA's with decimators in diamond formation? Drop, BLAM and then you have the advantage of having infantry on the ground right after the "strike". Provided you aim and shoot fast on the way down as those rockets are slow. >_>
Of course, you might need multiple outfits with that many people. Results might be interesting though. Last edited by Taramafor; 2013-11-07 at 12:45 PM. |

I sometimes do my own one-man poor mans orbital strike by jumping out of an ESF and dropping some C4 on an enemy vehicle.
A little silly, but fun. As for the idea with the lashers, i don't really think that's very practical. Last edited by Babyfark McGeez; 2013-11-07 at 05:26 PM. |

4 libs stringed together (if it were possible) or a tight diamond, with zephers. This would be the poor mans orbital strike. Actually it would work quite well. They just need thermals and coms and they could actually hit multiple targets.
