@Gryphon and other site developers.
I presume you have compiled a database of outfits/characters by server and update/poll that data. I can't find a way to identify multiples outfit rapidly by world .. without trawling character profiles. Any suggestions or tips? It'd be nice to do realtime with a couple of simple queries rather than some form of script overnight Think the API needs to embed world_id, online_count, faction into the basic outfit results along with world_id and online_status into the basic character result set. Being unable to filter on c:resolve results is a bit daft. Or rather pullnig hundreds of results to then 'filter' them. |

For our rankings it s all updated on demand. It updates our database whenever an outfit page is viewed or crawled by search engines, I am not doing any batch polling.
Our outfit pages are created by two api calls. To get world id and faction I do a single character query based on leader id. Online count just by looping over the members and counting. On phone at the moment so can't look into query by world, try the API forum or IRC api channel, they are pretty helpful. http://pside.co/apisandbox links there to each.
