Listen, I'm all for analyzing the demo to a degree... but animations are one of those things you can't just get a sense of at all in alpha. Those are finishing touches that go on only once all the gameplay is finished and before you start tackling bugs. You don't wax your car before it's built.

It's an MMOFPS. I'm fully prepared for there to be certain sacrifices made for performance. I remember playing Planetside back in 2003, so to me, PS2 looks too good to be true as it is.

They're going to improve and flesh out animations a lot in Beta. They didn't even add in the REAL heavy assault weapons due to animations.

That said, I am unsure if I like or dislike the clunky animations for the NC MAX. Beta needs to hurry up so I can see if I prefer being clunky or not... it looks odd... but looks... rather intimidating. Also video quality affects how it looks I'm sure.

But I'm not worried, and you shouldn't be either! The Devs will work it ALLLLL out!

They were, but at the time of release the game was a GOD. I was a high schooler without a credit card back then. I spent a WEEK begging my parents to let me play it. It was my first subscribed too MMO.

The animations were amazing, and the enter/exit animations were awesome too.

Listen, jackwagon. My mother was an English teacher. I am a writer and a self-professed grammar Nazi. But to pick out the difference between praying and hoping as something to start a semantic argument about? And to bring in the religious aspect in relation to a phrase commonly used in many contexts having nothing to do with religion?

You're really reaching for something to fight over. And as my grandfather used to say, "Don't swap spit with a jackass."
