Even though I'm pretty new to this community, this is where I will go for all of my PS2 ranting needs. I will of course post on the official beta forums while the game is in beta, but I will still be here posting away. This forum has a great community with lots of intelligent posters.

There is an inherent awkwardness in trying to post on a public forum when you are restricted by an NDA.

Im not at all saying it isnt possible. But depending on your nature and and natural mode of communication it can actually feel unpleasant.

Honestly the opening of the official forums will make it so the majority of new folks and attention whores will go there and PSU will be more used by seasoned involved community members just like its always been.

I am really looking forward to this. SOE forums can be really awful at times, regardless of how great a job the mods are doing. So much useless hate people have... Anyhow, I'll reply to dev threads where appropriate, but that's all the forumside2 that I am interested in.

The PSU core community is solid and enjoyable. Why leave that?

This is my home. I spend more time on this site than any other site. I have PSU on my fav lists on every computer that I use at work. I feel like this site is where the real discussion happens.

There is still tons of stuff to be able to discuss here even while under the NDA and I hope to see a huge PSU presence on the beta forums while the NDA is in place as well. I generally dislike official forums but I really think that all the PSU vets need to make themselves heard there to hopfully influence the gameplay for the better.

At the same time, there will always be great stuff to discuss here that wouldn't violate the NDA and the devs still hang out here too.

It's a good question. I intend to respect the NDA. Once in Beta anyone is then posting from a position of experience rather than speculation fueled by whatever information can be gleaned from other sources.

That said, depending on what is actually in the NDA when we read it, should one be careful with ones language and continue to post as if we're just speculating what the game will be like at launch....

....hmm, will see. But can still post about other stuff, in the off topic boards as well.

I've been visiting this site pretty much every day for a long time. No way am I going to stop because of the official forums going "online", however I will check them from time to time to see if there's any thread that might affect the game.

That said, at start when stuff is NDA bound, probably more so on the official forums, but once it's lifted I return mostly here. But even during beta I'll be around to discuss the stuff we can discuss

Of course because we all Love the PSU & Hamma (Even if Hamma is a TR, its not his Fault, he has just lost his Way) I even Thought about Donating something , because The PSU is a BIG and Growing still growing thing on the Run.(sadly i HATE Paypal and the Politics of it)
