What a great idea! The main demo event at GDC showed the marketplace, one of the sidebar options was dedicated to Taunts. I hope that they let at least a few of them be unlocked through certification % completion or something. Great idea for a sustainable micro transaction that you can continue adding to.

Requested this be a store item a long time ago (back in the first "what would PS2's shop sell?" thread when we found out it was going to be F2P). But yes of course, I'd buy taunts. Especially since there's a killcam.

I already said I'd pay extra to have some of the voices from Planetside 1 available in PS2, taunts and other macros sound great too. Even some extra character animations would be cool, like the high five "taunt" in TF2 (but less cartoony).

Not what this thread is about. I'm just illustrating how I'd use my taunts. Also, I haven't seen any official word on that so I'm assuming they're still in. Unless you can show me where that was said.

I would spend my money on taunts, as there is nothing better than gloating over a kill. As long as the things you purchase don't increase firepower, rate of fire, armor, or anything else that would make you stronger, I am all for it.
