Okay New ppl that is geting in to ps2 today: WHAT to do and NOT to do !!!

I hope this not breaking the NDA - if so delete this thread ASAP!!!!

I am making this new thread because there will be A LOT of new ppl coming in to the world of ps2 today.
And with that there will be A LOT of chaos and crazy ideas going on - I made this thread in hopes that ppl READ THIS and realize what to do and NOT do do in the game, Not just to make the older players (vets) angry but get e better gaming experience them selfs, READ - UNDERSTAND - AND HAVE FUN

WHAT TO DO:

* Be friendly in the CHAT and don`t spam the chat.
You can make the chat bigger 4 a reason and ppl READ THE CHAT.
(If you are in a GAL you can spam 3 times imo - more about that later)

* If you have a headset with a mic, TURN ON THE MIC!!!!
This is a game where teamwork is the key, So if you know that you have
a mic - USE IT !!!

* If you wonder something special dont SPAM the chat asking. Be smart:
See if there is some one that looks like he know what he is doing
And then send a PM (/w [his name]) To that guy and he will help you out.

* BE NICE to new players ALWAYS !!!

* ASK if you don`t know where the action is, but as i said BELOW: DONT SPAM!!!!
(press M = MAP and see where the action is yourself)

* JOIN A SQUAD AS SOON AS YOU GET IN TO THE GAME!!!!
THIS IS NO GAME FOR RAMBO PPL !!!

YOU GO RAMBO.... YOU ARE DEAD !!!!!!!

WHAT NOT TO DO:

* DON`T at ANY TIME test your rifle in the back of your friend in TR WARP.

* DON`T go AFK in the spawn tubes, If you go afk, take the 1 sec to
STEP OUT from the tubes FIRST.

* Don`t test your knife in the back on your friend to see if FF is on.

* DON`T throw a hand G at the spawn tubes to see if they
can be destroyed.

* DON`T by a galaxy and fly away with it ALONE!!!!!!
(it can hold up to 10ppl for a reason!!!) and DONT CRASH WITH IT !!!!
If you want to LEARN how to fly it - Start with a "light attack plane" - then go over to a BOMBER -
AND THEN the MIGHTY GALAXY !!!!! Not the other way around. I know they LOOK COOL, SOUND COOL
and I and the OTHER GAL pilots that KNOW how to fly... LET US FLY until you have LEARNED the other planes first.

* DON`T run infront of tanks or a moving "zerg train*"

* DON`T SHOOT AT THE GALAXY THAT IS STANDING BY AT TR WARP!

* DON`T Shoot with your attack plane on a flying galaxy!!!
You may think that its not doing much - BUT OUR JOB is to get our
troops safe to the drop zone, and that means that we will not NEED
friendly fire before we get there.. CAPICH?!

* DON`T GET ANGRY AND FLY INTO A GALAXY WITH YOUR PLANE!!!
YOU WILL BE DESTROYED but THE GALAXY will get a PUSH and loos balance and CRASH ASAP!!!
* DON`T SPAM THE CHAT screaming what is that, how do you do that?
(M is for MAP) That is everything you need to know.

(if you want to add more stuff and help the noobs) Feel free to do it.

* GALAXY pilots is IMO the only ones that CAN SPAM the chat THREE TIMES because we NEED TO BE HEARD !! We need ppl in ouer galaxys to do a great job, and we NEED repairs some times at warp when we come in HOTT.

* ZERG TRAIN = 5-10 or more tanks moving towards a common goal.
If you go in between and make half the train STOP - it will be a lot harder
to mass attack the base.

this is all common sense...but please dont tell me what to do, trolls will be trolls dude most people are there to enjoy the game, if they ask a dumb question dont be a dick because you are a vet help them out.

I GLADLY help out new ppl - BUT I DONT HELP SPAMMERS AND TROLLS !!!!

And do what you want? .. offcourse you can, as long as you dont take a GALAXY AND FLY OFF YOUR SELF... because THIS IS A TEAWMROK BASED GAME... And that is EVERYTHING except TEAMWORK!

This is not cod or bf3 - This is Planetside 2 = Its in an other play field.
Don`t for a second think this is bf3 or cod.

true mishap it is all common sense, but then again there's so many people that lack it. I don't think devilz is being a dick but just posting this to ensure that less people go afk in spawn tube, tk, or anything else that can be mildly annoying.

I would say that this topic is unnecessary. But then I remember people that have never played a true co-op game think they are John Rambo and start doing stupid things, instead of doing a useful thing.

The idea in PS2 is that everyone has to pull his own weight to help the team out. If you aren't doing so, you are hurting your team. I really wouldn't understand the fun of Tking on a game where the abundance of target is high.

I don't know about TEAWMROK, but teamwork fits better.

Also you can play squadie with others that want to do that, but don't go and lecture a lone wolf about playing as a team. If he wants to play by himself, let him. This game isn't just about making everyone else happy, you need to enjoy the game yourself and if that means playing alone, then so be it.

I'm looking to play TR myself, if you happen to come over and start screaming capslocks at me or VOIP, trust me that the enemy will be the least of your worries.

If you're a new player and go TR faction feel free to ram TR gals, especially if they're loaded up and heading into battle. You might even get a battle commendation from the VS/NC for such resounding 'teamplay'.
