If the Pulsar was changed from the original model to the new one to facilitate customizations, does that mean that the original, if for sale, will be unable to make use of customizations?

The old one looks a bit too "crude" and "fat". I really like the new one, much more "efficient" look.

As a counter point, I much prefer the old one.

The new one looks pretty bland and uninteresting. Like a cheap Nerf gun made out of plastic. The older one has a lot more character.

I would imagine so. Maybe it would have some slightly different stats than the normal PS2 Pulsar, so it would be an uncustomizable sidegrade to the standard Pulsar.

I'd probably pay for it. May not always use it, since I like the look of the new one a lot as well and the classic model may be lacking a lot of abilities if it doesn't end up being customizable, but I'm sure I'd get a fair amount of use out of it.

well...my guess is, they adds the empire specific gun variants which are equivalent of Supressor

If the old one is available in the shop I'd definitely think of purchasing it to use even if the stats are different from the current redesigned model. Same with the old style VS rexo. Might not always wear it but I'd appreciate the ability to whip it out once in a while.
