Scheduled betas are usually a temporary measure until they can get the infrastructure working to have it run 24/7. At this point in the beta, player feedback isn't really as important as technical feedback that they gather on their end from us simply trying to all log on and screw around.

A lot of this^^. Though I have been involved in a few betas that did scheduled ONLY.

How long was the time beetween announce and beta start in PS1 and how much to game release?

HAve you ever partecipated to a SOE game Beta?if yes same questions above.

Does Soe have a fixed schedule or it will be like blizzard epic time beetween announcement and release?

I have been looking for clarification on the cutoff date after which new subs to PS1 are no longer considered veteran and will therefore not have priority access to the beta along with other veterans. The above post is the closest I have come to a solid date after looking through several threads.

Can we collate the sparse information we currently possess here? I realise the first post is currently the most accurate, but there are still questions over the definition of the term "veteran" which aren't addressed.
