Yeah that would totally crack the code and give us the definitive date we yearn for...

Perhaps we should also try and decipher the date for the originally planned PS2 that was suppose to be just a graphical overhaul and change in P2P to F2P..

That's funny, when I look at it with Chrome and CTRL+ it looks like UI-1227-7211.

I'd caution everyone not to read too much into this, but it's hilarious when people prophecy shit and then when it doesn't come true they get all aggro butthurt about it and swear that they've been duped.

This thread is pretty ridiculous through. Do you actually think that they would texture in such a specific date, with the intention of it being an easter egg to some sort of release/beta date? Seems like a waste of resources to me.

To add, as long as you're skinning in any form of number onto something, you might as well have some fun with it! Even if something does happen on 12-07-2011, it's just a serial number after that date.

Yeah I really wouldn't want PS2 to be released that quickly, but for beta or perhaps the date of the next trailer, that'd be cool.

Very interesting find. We may be grasping at straws, but it is an interesting coincidence. I mean technically the devs havn't ruled out a 2011 release yet.

This does vaguely remind me of something that Lucasfilm did with one of the Star Wars prequels. At one point, there were rumors of Christopher Walken being cast as a Sith. Just then Lucasfilm released some art and some background story about a "Darth Bane", but the interesting thing is that the file names for the pictures were Christopher Walken character names like "maxshreck.jpg". Obviously, this just turned out to be a red herring, so I hope SOE just isn't messing with our heads.

One of the things this Close Inspection has lead me to discover is that the rifle has a rail mount on the top, remarkably like those on modern assault rifles.
