Great fun on Tigersmith's server... there's actually few enough people that I got a chance to hop in the jets and helicopter. I still blow at flying jets, and... well, you should have seen what I did to him with the chopper...

One of the reasons I got it on the PC was for the games over 32 players. How ever anytime I'm in a game with 40 or more there is always lag. Anyone else have this issue? It may have to do with my internet connection, with my DSL provider I get like 2-3mbs. I'm currently trying to switch/upgrade. Also half the time I browse for servers, all of the pings just go blank. Is it just me?

i think its just sometimes the servers lag & need a restart.

it occasionally happens to me too but usually its fine

Why is it on CoOp campaign am I the only person who can actually fly the helicopter? I WANT TO GUN DAMMIT!

lol i have sen this happen many times. Most of the time it happenes when we were just about done with it.

So I've waited through all the excitement of launch and finally saved up enough money to buy Battlefield 3. I made the mistake of purchasing it through EA ORIGINS and it's been downloading for 3 hours. 2.6 GB in three hours :/ 9 or so GB to go.

Look's like this won't be ready to play tonight. That's a buzz kill. Why is origins so bad?

EA I can't help but feel like.....

I don't understand how to counter choppers and jets.

I have the lock-on rocket launcher, but they don't do jack shit because the bozo pilots just fart flares which completely trivializes the tool I got that was supposed to be for countering flying things...

Even if I DO manage to hit chopper pilots, his engineer bastard butt-buddy sits inside and repairs the chopper infinitely....

UGH I HATE THIS GAME.

If Helicopter's are anything like they were in Bad company 2 then the key thing to remember is to not over-steer. They are pretty good at correcting themselves at the right speeds. I'm sure the jet mechanic's are now just advance as the helicopter's so I would imagine it's easy to dodge missile's as usual. Try getting good with your gun to side step the flares. As for tanked transport's you just need to overwhelm those with missile fire. they cant dodge very intensely.

Fucking 50.68% at 2:50 AM EST. God Dammit EA.

This is the problem with unlockable progression games that companies shit out now.

There IS a delay on farting out flares but it seems to be just about as long as it takes to reload your stinger thus defeating the purpose.

Just fire your pistol at it, small arms seem to be just as effective vs air vehicles.
