Planetside 2 launcher says installing, shouldn't it be downloading?

I finally got the download link to work, got the launcher installed but it says installing 6837mb, shouldn't it be downloading? Seems to be going pretty fast as well >.>

Nope, installing is correct. If it says installing it is doing it right.

I think it says installing because they install the software as it gets downloaded.

At least yours is installing. I'm stuck at the login screen saying "There was an error completing your request. Please try again."

At least you get something. When I try to run the launcher it runs in the background for a bit, then just crashes. The beta worked fine :/
