The Official site has up their Second Comm-Link! This one contains an interview with T-Ray as well as some new goodies!

Seventeen years ago I started in the video game industry as a 2D animator. My first game was a title for Interplay, Blood and Magic. I think that sold like 7.5 copies…My second title started out as Steve Jackson’s GURPS. I believe most of you know this product by its true name, Fallout. Fallout 2 and Icewind Dale followed and a few short years later I began working on the original PlanetSide and all of its expansions. We had an awesome time working on original PlanetSide, and even though most of that team has moved on to other companies and games, we are still very close to this day. Soon after SOE released PlanetSide: Aftershock, I decided it was time for me to move on.

Also reported is that the Stickam Video broadcast will feature Art Director Bill Yeatts, Art Director Matt Broome, and Senior Art Director Tramell Isaac on Thursday, September 29, 2011, at 4 PM Pacific time. The Twitter chat will take place September 30, 2011, starting at 4 PM Pacific time.

On a side note very glad to see the high activity among the community and the fans by the developers.

how about a new collection of questions for this q&a?

i would like to know more about the scalability of the engine (how much eyecandy i can switch off to play the game on a 2010 gamer laptop and what will be limited on lower settings)

or do i even have to go on low settings on a higher middleclass gamerpc from 2010?
forgelight looks awsome! and i really cannot imagine what kind of hardware it will need to run smooth. especially when 10 full loaded gals with a full air-escort of fighters comes around the mountain, ejecting hordes of troops on a facility

i went to take a screen shot of yo mama and had to zoom out to the galactic map!

Yo mama went upside Basteg's head so hard it caused The Bending.

Yo mama so fat her avatar weighs 42 pounds and she has to use a spawn tub.

Yo daddy's client so out of date he has to type LOAD "$",8,1.

i swerved to miss yo mama and ran out of NTU.
