Once people learn that the cut-off is now monday morning, we might see people purchase/resub to PS1 this weekend. Might.

Everyone has a different perception of the state of the closed beta, and values it differently. Then there's the timing concern, "If I don't get in right away, I'll have wasted $15!" To a lesser extent, "I'll waste $15 on a game I'll never play again come monday!"

Additionally, if the free month was any indication, there's a good chance resubs/FNGs will be playing the game (might as well, right?) just to kill time and enjoy PS1 before they potentially leave it behind for good, so pops SHOULD rise. Conversely, however, we also have to understand the perception of no one logging in discourages many players from bothering to log in at all and just sub up simply to have PS2 CBT access.
