Its pretty decent. The 9000 is a budget version of the 9700 so dont expect too much. But ts still a very solid card with a good price.

Its the cheapest in the 9000 series, the 9700 pro being the most expensive and most powerful. Just think Geforce 4 TI, and Geforce 4 MX. But the 9000 isnt near as crappy as the Geforce mx.

Yeah, if you don't mind spending the money, it gives you a lot more options, but if you're gonna do that, wait a month and get the 9700 base model.

Don't buy an OEM Radeon btw.

Or go ahead and do it, maybe it'll burn up your whole comp....

The Radeon 9500 is the perfect middle choice. Powerful, yet not super expensive

Geforce 4 is getting old though. Doesn't support DX 9 which isnt important now but in a year that'll be very important.

Well, by kicking arse you mean it's inferior to the Radeon 9000 series then yes, it kicks arse. Just kidding

it may be inferior in raw power, but in drivers and software (which matter a WHOLE lot) the 4600 kicks any radeon's ass.

cant wait for my FX though
