K another question for all you who know much

can i just dl the game to someone else comp that has cable and play it there with my account and also play on my computer( and judging by the dl time itll be some time next millenium) without having to buy another game card or make a new subscription? I thank you all for dealing with my bull crap especially the ones who are dedicated to read my threads

Sure. You can play PS on any computer that has it installed, you just have to log in. Your CD key/gamecard key simply clears your account for Planetside access.

(In other words, if you have a friend with high speed internet, you can take your rig over to his place, download the patches fast, and then go home. You could also play at his place if he doesn't mind. )

If you know someone who has cable this is what I propose. Install and patch on thier computer with the cable modem. Then either burn the entire game (which would take a little doing) or just hook the computers up over a LAN and copy it from teh cable machine to yours.

Odds are however by the time you got all that set up you could have just patched it.
