The QA Team for Planetside will be conducting a playtest tonight to make sure the event will occur smoothly tomorrow and through the weekend. Here's the info:

We will be testing the start of the v3.5 live event on Public Test. This will include the monolith capture game with the winner of that fighting over home planets as outlined at http://psforums.station.sony.com/ps/...ssage.id=73759
We will cut down the monolith fight time to only go up to 95 minutes (instead of the 3 hours players on live will be able to duke it out over). Of course, once the monolith is captured, it moves on to the home planet competition part.
Also, in this build on Public Test will be 2 bug fixes:
1) Correction to an issue that could lead to a client crash, especially after playing for multiple hours.
2) Correction to a force dome issue that could lead to incorrect force dome actions (like your weapons being locked, for example, when no where near a force dome)
We encourage you to log in and play for a while, and let us know how your client performs after being in game for an extended amount of time.
