"We want situations where you’ll see a certain kind of customised armour coming over the ridge and you’ll think “shit, yeah, the bad-ass air units are here.” Hopefully those elements will become aspirational in that new players will see those guys and work towards being a part of their Outfit."

+1 for that. Anything to encourage Outfit activity.

Good point, maybe PSU should offer a bounty for anyone that can deliver some gameplay footage? You know, if a video file just happened to show up in Hamma's email, and the deliverer of said file just happened to find some extra money in their paypal account... I'm not saying anybody should steal anything or break any NDAs of course because that would be wrong.

Also I'd like to note that if something like that was sent to me, I would forward it back to SOE and not post it here. Not willing to jeopardize the community relationship with SOE over one leaked photo/video.

I work in the biz, I've signed my share of NDAs and have heard "NDA" so many times that I can assure you of this much - if anyone were to leak anything on purpose, they're a complete moron and deserve to be kicked in the nuts. Sending such leaked content back, along with any evidence, would be the right thing to do (instead of forgetting about the whole thing, for instance).

99% of the time devs will be well aware that leaking stuff can cause collateral damage - derail marketing efforts, for instance. In the long run, that affects the product's success and, eventually, their careers.

If something gets leaked, I think it's usually through retailers (like pirated versions of games appearing on torrent sites a week before release) or retarded pseudo-journalists, not devs.

So, yeah, I don't think we need to worry about any leaks from SOE.
