I must agree with it depends on the engine.
In Gold Source a ping of 60 or less is ideal but in Source I have been content with 120 ping. Probably because the hit boxes are bigger and people move slower but I would like to believe better optimization played a role as well. Opponents with 150 ping are noticeable especially if they choose to be snipers. |
