One thing I haven't been too crazy about on the controls is that the mouse isn't inverted in flight. I may have missed it, but I haven't found any place to do that yet that wouldn't also affect ground vehicles as well.
But I have to admit, now that I'm starting to get used to it, it's not horrible. I haven't tried on the joystick yet, so I'm not sure if you can invert it or not. |

OP: atm it's better to play with Keyboard and Mouse, i don't know if it's a bug, or if joysticks aren't optimized yet but in my experience joysticks are waaaaaay too sensitive, even with the setting set to 0, i just slightly tilt my stick and i'm out of control |

that depends entirely on what youre flying, who you ask, what faction you happen to be talking to at the time and their general skills. Ive seen some fairly serious dog fights above me so they can well be fighters. Ive also been blown to atoms on many occasions, so they do work really well as ground attack craft as well.

However it works just fine to fly with mouse and keyboard but I know you can preform better with a controller if the sensitivity of the analogue sticks where turned down a bit... |

Both. Like xuur said, it depends a lot on you, who you're flying against, and how you've loaded up your aircraft. I'm a Reaver guy myself and those Scythe pilots are nimble as all hell. Flying against them is very tough without a wingman and definitely feels more like a dogfight. I'd imagine Mosquito vs Scythe would be an even more interceptor-like fight.
That said, I've seen folks load their Scythes up with photons and do some mean close air support. I think it's like Higby's said in all his interviews. They're really making these things modular so that you can redefine your role however you like. |
