I wonder, once you buy....say a camo pattern for your tank. Is that camo pattern yours forever, or just a week....or month?

If it is permanent....what happens after you bought everything you want? SOE gets no more money at that point.

I am betting that buying customized items are only for a limited time then you have to repurchase it.

Well, leases/rents are sort of where the F2P scene has been going recently, but to the later question, at that point they create more stuff for sale, of course!

Dont think they will just make a handful of camos and think the game will do 2 years with just those

League of Legends has no leases / rents.

I want an actual barney suit with upgraded shields and my melee attack is from my tail-whip. And the tail has spikes. The visor is inside the mouth and the teeth are automated so they are always moving to prevent any headshots from happening. Also I'd like to be able to camo that suit to full black on pink spots.

How many camo patterns can you possibly make? I will be NC, period. I suppose if you are a empire hopper then you would spend more.

It could be that they get desperate enough to make a hot pink camo patten with a Kalashnikitty logo on it....actually that sounds cool. Then they could make one for the Bronies out there.

It doesn't matter what other games are doing, they "like League of Legends' model".

I'm not buying anything that's not permanent. That's like, so 8 years ago.

Camo is just a small thing in the visual stuff they can sell.

It's just hard to tell at this point what are "BR rewards even for F2P" and what are potentially cash shop items. I could come up with probably a hundred sales articles right now, just different kind of things for the uniforms etc.

We've heard rumors about how the Devs want to limit you to one empire per account, because it makes "some" sense, we don't want to have easy mass empire switching to the "winning team of the day".

Obviously you could make another SOE account to play another empire under the F2P model, but what if I don't want to bother? It might be a small inconvenience, but I would pay a one time fee of like $5-10 to have multiple empires on my account. Another option would be to have this be a perk of a subscription, but it would have to be grandfathered in if you even canceled after one month because locking you out of your characters would be unacceptable.

I don't plan to empire hop, I like TR, but I also like all of Planetside. I plan to play it all sooner or later, including the other empire unique experiences. I think that it could be one way to earn them some money if they need more ideas... because if you are really cheap, you have a way around it too.

Why no hats? I want a baseball cap so I can tip it to the side and leave the sticker on it and look like a total gangsta.
