How about something simple like this...
Every player has 2 simple icons on the HUD... One icon is for if you are or want to be a SL, clicking it opens a list of LFS players you can invite. The other icon of for players looking for a squad. It would be a list of SL names who have open slots in their squad. If you invite someone to join your squad OR someone petitions you to join your squad the appropriate icon lights up/changes color to signify this action. You then click the alerting icon and the list pops up with that players(s) name highlighted. Double click on the name from the list to initiate the desired action.... either accept, decline, invite to squad, invite to platoon. Further, you could add a little check box in the SL GUI to allow you to be displayed as: Open for anyone - everyone would see you on the SL list Open only for outfit members - only outfit members would see you on the SL list Closed - no one can see you on the SL list Finally I'd add to the LFS GUI the following: LFS for any squad LFS for any outfit squad This way you don't see anyone who won't accept you. And if you are trying to organize a squad of outfit buddies you don't have to appear rude to others by declining offers to join up. BadAsh
