Was it ALT-T for distance - Not sure.
I quite like the night as it is. I suppose if you fly under the moon all the time it may be too light for you, but in bases and behind walls etc it's pretty dark. Dark enough for me to sigh when I forget IRNV anyway. I guess it's only my problem, but If it's a night cycle I have to close all the blinds so there's zero glare or reflections on my screen otherwise I can't see squat. But that's probably a combination of the darkness, my eyesight and not living in my mom's basement....

That's a good thing, remember the whole sidegrade thing. The IRNV isn't supposed to be a flair item you put on for giggles, it should be needed in some situations... sighing should be the least people do if they don't bring it to a night fight.

I only found out a few days ago that the darkness depends on where you are, so low areas are darker, which is really awesome, but the devs almost have to add in darker night unless the moon has a orbit that means its always out at night, so i hope for darker nights, will actually make my headlights useful, because i normally take them off as they serve as a "Hey look here.. i am just waiting to be shot" sign on my vehicle. And i like the night vision sights on the jets, even if the name doesn't apply to what they do. Green vision for the win.
