No no, SOE actually promised us, scouts honor, that we would be the first to play the game. Shook our hands and everything.

And now not only did they let other, clearly inferior people play OUR game, they also swore that the beta would be released today on the Bible and their dead grandmothers grave.

Honestly? Hypocritical. I can't think of another word that one might apply, even if regardless of whom the words are from, they're still true. Whom they come from matters to some people.

Look guys - let's take a few steps back and look at this. You all are raging hard about beta of a game and how SOE and Smed are breaking promises. Posting dumbass images and attacking eachother over a game that every single one of us will end up playing eventually.

Step back and look at the big picture and start acting like the community I know and have had the pleasure of being a part of for the past 10 years. Quit raging in the forums and at the devs via Twitter and let them do their jobs.

Releasing an MMO is a massive undertaking, thousands of man hours, personnel from the devs all the way down to the systems and servers, networking, APIs and all sorts of fun stuff.

This shit is complicated give them a break and relax a bit.

The only thing that saddens me is that it needs to be said at all.

I'm not in tech test, but I've been seeing a lot of posts like these.
So, I'm just going to come out and say it.

If you couldn't tell from all the hints, in it's current state the game is a buggy wreck. That's why SOE didn't bother making sure the vets get to the tech test.

They want to put their best foot forward and for you not to see the CTD, disconnect-hell that is going on in tech test right now.

Game's delayed for a good reason. Just calm down and know SOE wants you guys in ASAP. They got everyone busting their ass, I'm sure.

i would enjoy it more, to test / find bugs, in the games current state then sitting on the forums and rage..

what pisses me off the most is that they dont even have a own forum opened for planetside 2, for people who are not in any sort of test...

just twitter and facebook.. wtf is this joke?
