guess its ok to make jokes about WW2 and such now then... I do wonder if the "the solders where busy tabbing to check there scores" will come up

And at the risk of sounding like a grumpy so and so - I so far have not got a e-mail for anything planetside 2 related did make me wonder if I should update the machine I am currently using as I would want to check it out during beta to see how it runs as do most people. The thing that bugs me to no End currently is folks taking the piss with the NDA for the tech test - if they get banned can I have there invite? :P wishful thinking

I'm leaving for the Mediterranean on the second and won't be back for 2 weeks.

I'm not sure weather I should be depressed because I was excited for this game since announcement and beta's gonna start without me being able to play it or I should be overjoyed that I'm fulfiling my lifelong dream of going to Greece.

Probably depression

I was going to say download a list of car rental numbers for when the airports close down or won't accept euros anymore. But then I realised it's difficult to drive back to Canada anyway. But I guess you could drive to a country less likely to basically implode from bankruptcy but the choice isn't that great in Southern Europe

But like seriously, Greece is not in a good place economically. Make backup plans for getting out. And I'm not a tinfoil hatter, really. Just a bit.

The greek tourist industry hasn't been touched that much by the financial disaster, so going there is probably safe. Living there, on the other hand, I would not reccomend.

Well, this sucks.

I got a tech. key while in italy, and attempted to use it, and DL the game to my tablet, so I could just load it when I got home.

However, in mid of processing the key, my internet cut out.

Tried again, wouldn't let me through... Went to the DL page, didn't let me in...

I RQ'd and deleted the email, as well as about 20 other random ones in my account. :P

You could have probably just contacted customer support or something.

Ummm...
You should just be able to download the game again from the download page.
They flag your account to let you in. So... whether you're in or not (able to or unable to download) is entirely dependent upon your account.
