I also don't see why you would check your inbox all day long. If beta invites are being sent out, the whole forum would be full of posts/threads.

When the tech test started I only checked my e-mail for an invite if I read that people received one. No point in refreshing your inbox all day long...

Unless the invites are also under NDA. Something along the lines of "you cannot tell anyone you have received this e-mail or that you are in the beta, if you do you will lose all beta access" or some silliness like that.

That won't stop people from saying. And even if those posts/threads get deleted as fast as they are posted, I am 1000% sure Smedley would say they are sending out invites for the closed beta on twitter. It is just pointless to refresh your inbox every 15 minutes

I just find it funny than in a couple of weeks we will all be in the beta but the NDA will likely still be in effect.

Everyone pretending that they're not in the beta when everyone knows that they are. It will be quite interesting.
