Veteran Status help?

I have been subscribed to Planetside 1, but I never got my free 30 days for it (had a problem with it)... will I still be able to have Vet status if I didnt get the 30 days??

If you ever bought and installed Planetside or subscribed, you're a vet. However, what was the problem you encountered?

I just never got the days,(no clue why) people said to contact customer support, but I just never really needed 30 days in the first place, so I didnt spend the hassle trying to contact CostSup.

To be honest, while we may all agree that you would qualify as a vet, SOE is not going to be looking at each and every case to determine who's a vet - they're going to use some kind of automated process to generate the list of vets. If that automated process skipped you the first time around when they were handing out 30 days, it seems likely to me that it'll skip you for the list of beta-qualifying vets as well.

IMO if you want to be sure you qualify for the PS2 beta as a PS1 vet, you should talk to someone at SOE.

I bought the box game and subscribed in 2004, been playing on and off ever since then . I have a 6 year merit (highest you can achieve) and I never received the free 30 days either. Anyone else in this boat? I was concerned as well but I figured SOE would be able to see my payment history? Not sure why I was skipped though.. Maybe a dev can pop in and put our fears to rest.

Have the same prob. Subscribed throughout 2004, before that I used a game time card.
Got the 30 days after I contacted support. Seems all we can do is wait till all vets are
invited and if we still aren't in, contact the support.

Nobody here can tell you for sure if you got Vet status or not. Clearly, you should, but you need to contact Customer support to be sure.
