I just linked this on the official forums but thought I'd mention it here too - you guys have always been cool with fan art

I've been filming off and on these last 45 days and I made a small PlanetSide tribute video that I've always wanted to make but never had the means to before. (Do you remember the old days when we didnt have Youtube to host PS videos??). I figured I'd "send off" PlanetSide 1 while I had some free time.

No fancy killing sprees, death metal, or duels... I just want to give people a taste of what I have seen and felt and loved in PlanetSide.

Turn up the sound and watch it at 720p

Well done other than the dubstep. Loved the reavers around 2:20.

Midway through it sure as hell sounded like dubstep. Thankfully it was subtle.

What relly worrys me right now is the fact that i just watched the video again, and could name all the continents and bases shown, as long as there was outdoor footage.

very nice vid, loveley atmosphere generated, can i ask, what did you use for recording, and what settings did you use for the encoding, the quality looks really good

I used FRAPS to record (locked 30FPS @ 1650x1080 my monitor res) and edited/exported in Adobe Premiere.

Encoder:
Format: H.264
Pixels: 1280x720
FPS: 24
Field Order: Progressive
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
Bitrate Encoding: VBR, 2 Pass
