Not really. Generally I would think that the in-game time probably isn't too far off where the timeline ends. Maybe a year or two but thats just me.

2. Where are/what happened to the civilian populations. The entire populations of auraxis can't be soldiers. What's the deal with the non-soldiers?

There are a couple references to cities in some of the earlier lore posts. Families on the Cyssor continent, prisons on Searhus etc... The NC in particular were noted for having built 'underground cities'

Ultimately though they're not around or referenced because giving player the opportunity to gun down civies wouldn't go over too well. Nor would making them suddenly invincible to gunfire Fable style.

3. What's the general view of the populace (if you want to be specific, NC) on religion?

There not a huge reference to organized religion mentioned on post TR Earth. Probably one of the many things cracked down on because it would have inherently disrupted the universal unity the TR was trying to make. I'd say its likely personal beliefs would have still been allowed, so long as they didn't disrupt order. If thats the case then its probably the same for the NC, although I doubt there are any official 'state' or officially recognized religions outside of the VS.
