Peeps that can not afford much $$$ to upgrade maybe able to get some deals from the members here.

For example I am selling my GF4 ti4600 with a Tt copper heatsink for $180 shipped.

The forum is huge already. I would be happy to mod that forum thread if you would like.

Heh, you can get money for just about anything on Ebay. Just don't expect to get full value in return.

I agree, this forum is awfully big already. If Hamma started making forums for everyones request, we would spend 30 mins scrolling to the bottom.

the only problem with ebay is that you have to pay to sell. So its pretty dumb.

It's safe, I have bought around 15 things from Ebay, including a PS2(when it was first released) and a few high-priced sports memorabilia items.

Here are some details about the prices:

Why?

E-bay charges you to sell on there.

Hard forums

They sell and list for trade on their forum and it is a huge success.

Sellers use paypal which makes the transaction safe for the people. This would be a great addition to the forums. Hard forums gets like 5+ pages of listings a day from what i saw. In 12 hours I bumped my GF4 card from page 3.

Please try it out and see how it works. If it fails shut it down, no harm no foul

just in case u havent noticed this site is all about a game... A game we all egerly wait to play and cant resist.

What u propose is to make this site less of a gaming site, by adding in "irrelevant" stuff like buy/sell forums and such...

There are sites dedicated to that, and that is not what this site was ment to be... Lets just keep things seperated, and thereby making them better... Cant have admins concentrating on "less" important things like selling computer hardware and controlling weather people get paid etc.

Go to the sites that dedicate their time to just that, and you will see that the response to your posts is much better, because that is what the poeple using that site is there for. Trading goods.

Well seeing you asked I will explain. not everybody has $400.00 to upgrade their video card, $160 for a processor, $150 motherboard ect.

Yet some would LOVE to have their system upgraded. This would allow the "community" to get special offers from other members to get something they could not afford new.

If the staff can not recognize that this could help out a lot over time then I guess I will have to live with that. But as Squeeky keeps saying we have a lot of forums, but some are not used much so I really fail to see how this is going to be a negitive thing.
